INMHO, the TEXT application under Color Deskmate 3 is better presented than
T/S Edit+Word. Granted, TEXT in DM3 does not allow for any fancy printer
codes (bold, italic, underlining, font size/type) but to edit plain old text
files I like it better. In terms of technical power the T/S package is
better but I never felt at ease with the interface, found it to be
"orthogonal". Then again, you also have quick access on DM3 to a basic but
stable terminal program, a no frills spreadsheet and a rather nice bitmap
graphics editor.
