I worked for many years as the staff writer for Infocom, an entertainment software company, and we italicized the titles of all our products in the newsletters, ads, and packaging materials we produced. I don't think we even questioned it. It just made sense to us to treat software products the way we'd treat books or movies. Maybe it was partly because we saw ourselves as "producers and publishers of interactive fiction." Elizabeth Langosy Publications Officer, LASPAU Harvard University elangosy@harvard.edu
