Our grassroots community organization is petitioning our city for a cable
access PEG channel. We are asking them to provide for this in our franchise
renewal agreement with the cable company.We have not been greeted
favorably.We need help from any individuals, community groups or others that
have experience with this process.
We addditionally could use any letters of support from persons or
organizations that have had positive experiences with Public access TV. A VHS
tape of local programming of a PEG channel in any area of the US( that shows
positive use of such a channel) would be fantastic! Anything that we could
use to make our case, would be appreciated!
Our group has about a 45 day window to accomplish this before another
presentation.Please U.S. Mail any and all responses to :
