Any suggestions on what to do when US postal service delivers a package of
opened mail from different countries, all correctly addressed and stamped,
just adding a note saying 'sorry about this'?  I believed my mail was
inviolable, & if they are looking for something I thought they would do it
less evidently...

I don't know what my rights are in this country, but I get the feeling I
can do something about it other than just accept the apologies.  Can
anybody offer advice?
