Hello friends, Tom Freeman here from the mighty K - KAOS Olympia Public
Radio. I am the development director and I host two radio shows here,
Conversations from the Penguin Cafe and Outloud News.

I am interested in using community radio as a forum for political news
and ideas that have not a voice in the mainstream media. I am also proud
that KAOS has a music policy that 80% of all the music we play should
come from independent artists, instead of relying on corporate America to
decide what's listenable and what's not.

I'd like to hear from other media types and find out what you all are
doing out there. I also work with the community newspaper "Works In
Progress," sponsored by The Thurston County Rainbow Coalition.

That's it for now.

Peace and love,

Tom Freeman
