thaks a lot for your reply ! 

I thought too using the NEW names of
reference types is possible because you describe it in your 
documentation.

Unfortunatelly it is not ! I possibly made a stupid error although I
tried to check everything twice. 

I wonder what is the reason for the problems I have when importing 
Refer/BibX format. Thats why I sent my reference file and a example
import file to Noah Jacobs. 

It seems to me that Endnote ignores the %0 declarations. Refrence types
are chooses rather arbitrarely although they are specified with a
%0 declaration. Possibly the %0 declaration are overriden by 
Endnote when some special criterions are fullfilled (as fore the
case when no %0 declaration is available).
