As EndNote users, we can exchange references pretty easily, thanks to the way Niles has implemented their database format. However if I want to make references (in this case, scientific references) available to the maximum number of miscellaneous researchers, what if any format or formats are closest to a universal standard? Is Refer format readable by lots of other bibliographic database programs? What format is more widely readable? Finally, where should I ask this question to get non-EndNote users?
