hi, i am a small business and i am looking to work towards iso 9000 (or 9001 or
whichever it is).

does anyone have experience of this and suggest a site or book which simplifies
the essence of what is required to gain approval? (uk based).

Mark,
Hi, my name is Meaghan Kantner, and I work for my father, who runs a
quality control/consulting firm. He has written a book about
ISO-9000, "The ISO 9000 Answer Book", and has a site at
http://www.9sg.com, where he can respond to any questions you may have
about getting registered. He has helped many, many companies
implement 9000 systems. Also on the site are previous questions,
which he has answered. They are simply put, straightforward answers.
Hope this helps you!
