Once upon a time a company named XEROX *owned* the photocopy marketplace.
The trademark XEROX almost become a generic term for photcopying.
They made some similar marketing mistakes and now we have CANNON, SHARP,
KODAK, ... , photocopiers. Xerox has got their stuff together again, but
it took them a long while to do it; they even won a Baldridge award for
quality control, at least I think so.
