Dear list,
Poor guys we are, we are still running IBM' s now unsupported VMBACKUP
5.1. We had to upgrade our CP last week (it is now VM/XA 2.1 service
level 209). In this upgrade was also a change of the online directory
layout. Since then our VMBACKUP only backups SOME of the users it
should backup (e.g. it backups laaaa02 and laaaa03, but not laaaa04,
laaaa05), although it should backup them (and it did that before
the CP upgrade). Nothing has changed to our configuration the last months.
So this is 1) a warning for other poor guys
2) a request for solutions. The only one I can think of is
simply to give a lot of money to Systems Center.
Thanks,
