----------------------------Original message---------------------------- I have set up two printers on two Win95 machines to be shared by the other Win95 and a couple Win3 for Workgroups machines. It is not working that great--it works just fine for a while, then the "client" machines are unable to find the machines sharing printers. If I go to the DOS prompt and type "NET VIEW", it shows the computers with the printer attached, but if I try to see the resources being shared by a specific computer on that list with "NET VIEW \\name" it says it can't find that computer on the network. I am using Client for Microsoft Networks and Microsoft TCP/IP as included with Windows. All computers in question are on the same subnet. Is this a common problem? Is there an easy fix? -- Kyle Barger Haverford College kbarger@haverford.edu Academic Computing
