Our university bought a Meeting Maker site license, but it still requires
each user to purchase their own copy (at a reduced price). Also, for
each room or piece of equipment you want to have an identity for
scheduling, you must purchase a copy of the software for those
pieces of equipment also. [Actually, we get one room/resource
per person for whom the library has purchased a copy, but the
number of professional staff doesn't even come close to the
variety of equipment we circulate.] Because of the added cost,
our library doesn't want us to use Meeting Maker for scheduling
equipment. We are in the process of looking for a single workstation
solution. Does what I have described sound like the situation you
have, or did your school negotiate a different type of contract?
