Hi back!
Well if this is a general question, I believe that we eventually should
evolve to have some display-networked mechanism in the clasrooms, right now I
believe that it will be a waste of space and money, to put computers in every
classroom; besides, so far our network capabilities have not taken us yet to
the point were video-conferencing is flawless, nor we have the databases
necessary to place the task of "automating students", I think other's can
agree with me in the fact that in Computer labs that aren't networked 90% of
the usage of machines is to utilize tools to do homework, and others that are
networked, about 50-60% is for homework, the rest just go there to either get on
the internet, or play with any shareware games the machine may have available,
so the interactivity and usability of computers for the classroom has yet to
be proven. I do see us developing the technology, and the structures
needed for something like this in the near future, but to buy an X amount of
computers for a classroom, at the rate technology is changing, I think will be
a waste, unless you have unlimited resources, then what's a couple of
hundred thousand's ha?
