We use Danyl Vendamat provided by a third party (IKON Management Systems, which is nationwide, formerly known as OMI), soldered to the printer board. Not a very nice solution, but it works. Network queue based solutions include the Lynx-5000 and UnipriNT. Lynx is a Netware 3.11 (4.1 running Bindery emulation) solution; UnipriNT, NT 3.51 w/ MS SQL server. If I remember right, both of these products have ways of interfacing with most common copy cards. None of these is ideal, but they'll get you some money back, along with some headaches. I think I can dig up contacts at all of the above, if you're interested. _____ Michael Han (han@library.ucsf.edu) voice: (415) 502-7542 Interactive Learning Center Consultant (415) 476-4309 San Francisco, California 94143-0840 fax: (415) 476-4653
