----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Has anyone had success with DOS cards in power macs? I have a lab with Power Macs 6100/66. Each has 16 meg of RAM. I have 8 meg assigned to the DOS card and there is no additional memory on the card. On the DOS side of it, I am trying to run Windows 3.1 from a novell network. Within a few minutes of use, the PC side just freezes up. Because most of the applications are windows apps, I'm running in windows when it freezes (Most of the time in WordPerfect 6.x). I'm not sure exactly what to do. I don't mind adding addtional memory to the DOS card if I knew that it would help. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks! ====================================================================== Terry Lewis + Internet: tlewis@utm.edu Sr. Applied Computer Analyst + Bitnet: ##30@UTMARTN.BITNET Computer Center, 102 Cooper Hall + Phone: (901) 587-7890 The University of Tennessee, Martin + Martin, Tennessee 38238 + ======================================================================
