Our program is non-MSTP and we have no contractual obligations upon graduation. However, we recently learned that due to the forthcoming New York State Budget Cuts, those currently in the program may lose part of their tuition waiver and/ or stipend. Now this is a raw deal if I ever heard one, since we were told that if we held up our end of the bargain (completing the program) we would receive a full tuition waiver and stipend for ALL our years of training.
