We have a Microcomputer Room in the Main Library which is a cooperative
arrangement with Instructional Technology (once known as Computer
Services, etc). I this room we have 10 MACs and 10 IBM's. They are
connected to the Internet as well as being on their own LAN for other
instructional purposes. We have an overhead with a projection pad and the
lights can be somewhat dimmed so the projected images can be seen. We
train people in the use of our online catalog (Melvyl), email, telnet,
ftp's, gopher, cd-roms, and bibliographic management programs.
