Educator's Guide to Email Lists - Errata
If you obtained the Ednet Guide by recent FTP (Revision Feb.1, 1993)
please note the following corrections:
Under "Ed. - K12" The address to Telnet to SendIt BBS is:
sendit.vm1.nodak.edu but the case for
login: bbs and password: sendit2me should be lower
Under "Future Studies" The address for INFO-FUTURE should be @encore.com
but repeated attempts to reach anyone there have
failed. Please delete the entry.
Under "History & Humanities" The missing address for SCHOLAR is: @cunyvm.
Under "Library and Information Retrieval"
ACONET should be ACQNET
CONSAL should be CONSALD
SLART-L should point to Second Language Acquisition
Research & Teaching list and be deleted here. See
under "Language - International" where the entry
is correctly listed.
And add the following:
IAMSLIC Int'l Assn of Acquatic & Marine Sci. Libs. & Info. Cntrs., topics
in freshwater, marine, brackishwater sciences. @ucsd.
I regret these errors and my thanks to: Gleason Sackmann, Hope Tillman,
Calvin Boyer, Phyllis J. Brown, Merry Burlingham, Kevin Conboy, Joseph
Raben and Peter Brueggeman for spotting and reporting them.
A revised list will be available by Feb. 8, 1993 and dated as such with
these corrections. Available by ftp to: nic.umass.edu in the directory:
pub/ednet as the file: educatrs.lst or point your Gopher at Umass/
Amherst and choose menu options 2, 7, 3, 4, 2, 2.
