in the Radisson Hotel Columbine Room

If you are planning to attend Mid-winter, please join the DSNIG members for
a forum on "TEACHING THE INTERNET" and related access or training issues as
they apply to various library constituencies. Kicking off the discussion
will be Jean Amour Polly, Manager of Network Development and User Training
for NYSERNET -- author of "Surfing the Internet" (Wilson Library Bulletin,
June 1992) -- and Connie Chandler, Manager of Reference Systems and Services
for BCR, a multi-state OCLC network. Jean's area of interest is informing
public libraries about the wealth of information available on the Internet,
while Connee brings a unique perspective on taking your training on the road
and dealing with a multiplicity of host machines and interfaces.

We hope you will join us for what promises to be a lively and freewheeling
discussion of network training and instructional issues which face libraries
of all types. See you in Denver!
