John, I've been teaching with Web-based activities and lecture 'overheads' through Diversity University MOO. The MOO let's me have live "chat" meetings and the Web interface let's me have conversation in one window while showing 'overheads' or activity pages in teh other window. I'll be happy to meet with you online and show you what I do if you are interested. DU is a grant funded non-profit corporation that welcomes instructors from all over the world to use the facilities. You can see them at http://www.du.org or connect directly to http://www.du.org:8888 login as a guest and use the "Integrated Interface" button if you want to see the Web interface which I use. You can see our course list at http://www.kovacs.com/online.html if you want to see the kind of things we're teaching this way. Regards, Di >Some thoughts I have had include >a. reading material to be provided 24 hours before the session >b. a list of web sites to be visited during the session to be distributed >prior to the session. > >Any guidance will be appreciated. > >Regards > > >John F Johnson >Queensland >Australia >John.Johnson@jcu.edu.au ______________________________________________________________________ Diane K.
