The is a course available on the Web for Evaluating the Quality
of Internet Resources, which I can heartily recommend. It is at:
         http://sosig.ac.uk/desire/internet-detective.html

To backtrack:
I am preparing talks for high-school students, grades 9-12, on
Evaluating Internet Resources. Many on this List kindly helped me
with sources and these have provided excellent examples.

For the over-all content of my talk, I am indebted to a course on
the Web from the University of Bristol.
The course aims to provide professional Librarians and Researchers
with the knowledge and understanding they need; it can easily be
stripped
down and re-oriented for high-school students.
The original course carefully avoids all simplistic and sweeping
generalizations, and includes several Quiz-type tests for us along the
way, with feed-back comments on the answers we give.

The course is available at the URL -
          http://sosig.ac.uk/desire/internet-detective.html
