To change the topic a little -- I find it completely frustrating that The
Mining Company does not display the "real" URL to sites it links to.  It
instead replaces it with a Mining Company URL.  No matter how good a Mining
Company list of annotated links is, I will not link to it from our library
system's collection of links, because it is so frustrating for patrons and
staff not to be able to get back to where they started ... or to be able see
the real URL.   Instead of using links to great collections The Mining
Company compiles, I will find the real URLs to the source(s), and include
some of the links on our pages.

The Mining Company is putting a lot of work into their directories, but I
usually avoid them unless they pop up in the results of another search
engine/directory.
