The Haywood Regional High Technology Center here in Waynesville, NC
where I teach part time is interested in the Certified Internet
Webmaster (CIW) Certification Program currently being offered by Prosoft
Training (prosofttraining.com). Prosoft Training claims to be "the
global leader for Internet certification, training, and courseware."

Now for the point of this message. Have any of you had any experience
with the CIW Certification Program? In particular, I am very interested
in the following:

1. Does this program truly prepare individuals for employment as a
"Webmaster?"
2. Do Internet related businesses recognize the CIW certificate as being
a "significant and desirable" achievement?
3. Are the courseware materials adequate, accurate, and relative to the
tasks of being a gainfully employed as a Webmaster?

As you can see from these questions, the Haywood Regional High
Technology Center is sincerely interested in training people for future
employment in the Internet arena as I am sure that many of you are. If
you have experience with another "Webmaster" or Internet Certification
Program, I would very interested in receiving your thoughts too.

If anyone is interested in the responses to the questions I have posed
concerning the CIW Certification Program, just drop me a line and I will
respond ASAP.

Thank you for your time and attention to this request - they are
sincerely appreciated.
