Hello Andri, (and anyone on the list who is visiting soon) I hope you enjoy your trip to London, at least the weather is not too bad this time of year! Now if you want to do some photo shopping while you're here (remember to do an exchange rate conversion on UK prices, B&H or Penn Camera are often cheaper than here) this is my list of places to take a look at in London * Fox Talbot/Techno, on The Strand, opposite Charing Cross rail stn - good prices for new equipment, and interesting selection of used, at reasonable prices * Jessops, on New Oxford St, nr junction with Tottenham Court Rd - big branch of one of the UK's best photo store chains- both new and used well priced * opposite the British Museum front entrance (check your map) there are a couple of secondhand/colectable camera shops, well worth a look, excellent quality stock, but prices are a bit high * the famous Grays of Westminster shop which is exclusively Nikon only - if you're into Nikon visit this place, see their web site - www.graysofwestminster.co.uk - for full info on opening times and location. but the first thing to do when you get here is to buy a copy of Amateur Photographer magazine, the top weekly photo mag here, £1.65, and/or Practical Photography, top monthy mag, both full of ads for these shops and loads more. Good read, and useful to see what prices should be. Bon voyage!! cheers Andrew Higgins Scarborough, UK (a Londoner until I moved 'up north')
