Here at the University of Missouri, we are looking into the possibility
of using scanning sheets to record class grade information. Currently
the faculty writes in the given grade on a class list and that infor-
mation is key entered. We would like to be able to record grades in
a more timely fashion. Is there anyone using this type of application?
If so:
Do you pre-slug student id's or course information on the sheets?
(Has anyone tried using a HP Laserjet to preslug forms?)
Do you use continuous forms or cut sheets?
Are there any security concerns?
Do the instructors code the sheets with pencil or permanent marker?
What type of scanner do you use?
I would appreciate any information or tips on this subject. We
currently use an NCS OPSCAN10 scanner.
Thank you for your time.
