Dan, at the U of M we do not charge staff for scanning and post processing
services. However users do pay for their forms. These are purchased
through our Central Stores at $.03 each.

I've been asked to determine what other sites are charging for
optical mark reading these days. Our current rates are a
composite of charges for sheets scanned, operator time, and
post-processing. What do you do? How much do you charge?
If you have a 'job' charge, is it based on number of sheets
scanned or amount of time required? If it is based on amount
of time required, what is the rated throughput of your scanner?
