I have put many pieces of electronics through x-ray machines without problems, and I cannot think of any reason that x-rays would affect the platter of the hard drive. I would be more worried about the metal detector one walks through. *************************************************************************** *RICK MATTHEWS Dept. of Physics * * 7507 Reynolda Station * *Internet: matthews@wfunet.wfu.edu Wake Forest University * *Office: (919) 759-5340 Winston-Salem, NC 27109 * *FAX: (919) 759-6142 USA * ***************************************************************************
