The exact commands used to retreive files via FTP will depend on the
operating system your mainframe system is using.  UNIX differs considerably
from VMS in the way you change directories and in other areas.  Also, our
system just got an upgraded VMS version of FTP which is easier to use than
the older version.  So the bottom line is that you need to find out what
commands work on your system.  Try giving the HELP command after invoking
FTP.
