Beginning this school year, the 23 high schools of our school
district Are eliminating PSSC physics and conceptual physics.
InsteAd we will have one unified physics course called the
Physics I ( Gt or honor physics classes are to stAy; some
schools even have AP physics). This new change also includes
the impleentation of technology and the goal of teaching
physics without a TEXTBOOKS. Students are issued a textbook.
However, the emphasis is to use computers and do more lab.
Inorder to fascilitate the implementation of such program, a
full macintosh computer lab is now installed in the physics
classrooms of all 23 schools. Each computer integrated physics
lab have the following:
        A teacher station--Centris 610 computer with 14"
Triniton Tube and 4 MB memory Expansion kit

Ten sets of:
        Mac LCIIIwith 14" trinitron tube
phonets (for net work to printer)
        ULI interface boxes
        Sets of probewares:
                motion detectors
                force probes
                magnetic field sensor
                pressure sensor
                microphone/amplifier
                sound program
                photogate system kit
Tools for Scientific Thinking--Motion and force
                                guide
        At ease software
        Wings for learning Explorer--
                Gravit, SHM, Waves Ac/Dc Circuit
        Interactive physics II
        Vernier graphical analysis
        ClarisWorks 2.0
Mac motion, Data Logger, Event Timer and Mac Temp
                software

Right now my school has some software money available. I need
to put in order for any additional softwares of my choice as soon
as possible. Later on the money may not be availab.

Please make suggestions for any additional useful, good mac
softwares and computer related items that I should acquire.
Your immediate response would be greatly appreciated.
