Barb,

        ULI stands for Universal Lab Interface.  It is a seperate box that
attaches to a Macintosh and now to a PC or clone.  With the Mac it allows
for some very interesting real time graphing and other experiments.  I
have not seen the PC version of the software.  The box is the same for all
computers. hence the name Universal Lab Interface.
