We purchased the "Physics of Toys" set from Central last year. I
was disappointed. The manual is nice. The toys are the cheap
plastic variety that last about 10 minutes in the hands of
students. Many of them don't work well. I think you could get
what's in the set on the retail market for around $25. For
somewhat more than that, you could get decent versions that might
work better. I'd recommend buying the manual and heading for a
decent toy store.

Another thought -- try to get hold of some of the old "Professor
Wonderful" video tapes by the late Julius Sumner Miller. Most of
the segment involved toys. He also did several on just the
physics of toys.
