I teach physical science and physics on the high school level. Starting this September, I will be involved in a new team teaching program at my school. Along with members from the history, math and english departments, we will be team teaching two groups of 9th graders (20 - 25 students per group). Our obvious objective is to develope lesson plans which tie together across disciplines. Our topics are somewhat tied by history, so our first unit will cover ancient Egypt. I am looking for any input into the science curriculum for this unit. Although our current 9th gr. science is physical science, I would prefer to utilize an intergrated science approach wherever possible. Of particular interest would be any ideas in the way of projects, both individual and group, which could get the students physically involved. Thanks for your help.
