ANNOUNCEMENT : LAW PRESS CONFERENCE =

1997 ANNUAL HUMAN RIGHTS REPORT

Time: 11 am Palestinian time (12 noon Israeli time)
Place: Ambassador Hotel, Jerusalem
Date: Sunday 29th March

LAW is pleased to announce that LAW's Annual Human Rights Report of
1997 will be released at a press conference this Sunday 29 March.

LAW's 1997 Report covers the continuing human rights violations of the
Israeli government in the occupied territories including Jerusalem, as
well as the human rights situation in the Autonomous Palestinian
areas.

The press conference will be held in both Arabic and English.

People living overseas who would like to obtain a copy of the report
