Apologies for cross-posting - I'm still, still learning this system.

I have a client who writes a lot of one-page reports, almost boiler plate.
They want to use a database type filing system, so that they can bring up a
form on screen, fill it out, print it and ship it.  Then a month later, they
can, pull up the informaiton from the form and cite it off. One entry serves 2
purposes, so to speak.

Traceability is an issue in this business, so an electronic system that didn't
crash too often would be a good idea.  The present system is ancient,
virtually all paper, and very little logic.

This doesn't sound all that difficult to me, who never wrote C++.  I could
probably put something together using Excel, but it would not have an
accounting level audit trail.

Who has some thoughts on decent software?  for another small client (<10 people)
