Organization

SUPER! is a user group of university faculty and staff involved
in high performance computing on IBM systems, including vector
and parallel computers, workstation clusters and visualization
systems. Researchers, faculty, computing center management, and
technical support staff are invited to participate. The goals of
SUPER! are to:

- provide critical feedback to IBM concerning strategic
directions in high-performance computing for research and
    education.

- promote and encourage the early involvement of universities
    with IBM product developers.

- sponsor forums including, an annual conference, to share
information and experiences related to IBM high performance
    computing developments.

The SUPER! Steering Committee:

- meets with IBM developers several times a year to discuss
issues related to high-performance computing in higher
    education.

- plans the annual SUPER! conference.

- communicates with its constituency through the
    SUPERIBM@ukcc.uky.edu electronic listserv.
