Hi,
I would like to be able to use equation numbers for several equations
and also align these at a given point using SMFF in DCF. For example,
suppose I wanted to output the equations below, more or less as
displayed.
--
w + x + y - > z = a + b + c + d (T.1)
--
--
- > z = a + b + c + d - w - x - y (T.2)
--
--
> z = w + x + y - ( a + b + c + d ) (T.3)
--
Using something like
:df align=left. eqno (T.1)
<w %% + %% x %% + %% y %% - sum of z here = ...> hvabove
< - sum of z here = ...> hvabove
< sum of z here = ...>
:edf.
will make alignment easy, but will only allow a single equation number,
while using something like
.se sp2 = ' '
.se sp3 = ' '
:df align=left. eqno (T.1)
<w %% + %% x %% + %% y %% - sum of z here = ...>
:edf.
:df align=left. eqno (T.2)
<sp2 - sum of z here = ...>
:edf.
:df align=left. eqno (T.3)
<sp3 sum of z here = ...>
:edf.
works if &sp2 and &sp3 are set right, but requires finding the
values for these variables. Does anyone know a better way to do
this? Thanks in advance for any info.
Jim
