I'm trying to figure out how to pass a set symbol value to Waterloo/Script from an exec and avoid the tokenization and truncation to 8 chars which occurs. The only thing I've been able to find that works is using a ? to get a pushed value, as in the test below. The only problem is that this causes Script to prompt for +MAILTO: which I'd rather avoid. Is there some other way? +============================================== Beginning of TEST EXEC /* test pushing parm */ queue 'friendly@hotspur.psych.yorku.ca' 'script test (+mailto ?' -==================================================== End of TEST EXEC +============================================ Beginning of TEST SCRIPT .ty mailto &mailto -================================================== End of TEST SCRIPT -- Snail Mail -- ** E-mail ** Michael Friendly Internet: friendly@vm1.YorkU.ca Psychology Department (NeXTmail) friendly@hotspur.psych.yorku.ca York University WWW: http://www.math.yorku.ca/SCS/friendly.html Toronto ONT Voice: (416) 736-5118 x66249 CANADA M3J 1P3 Fax: (416) 736-5814
