As promised in an earlier posting, my textbook on Simula is being made
available on the Web. Its use is free for non-commercial users and I am
happy to discuss its use for commercial purposes with anyone interested.

The first five chapters are now available in HTMl at:

http://www.dcs.ed.ac.uk/home/rjp/bookhtml

The remaining chapters will follow as soon as I get the time to convert them.

The material on text editing and de-editing will be corrected in this version.
