Tor E. Wisloff asked the following: While we are at it, does anyone know of Simula (or Demos) for MAC (and how to get hold of "MPW", whatever that is, if it's still needed)? Here is some information that should help. MPW means Macintosh Programmers's Workbench ( or something very close to that ). It can be obtained from Apta in Copenhagen tele +45 31 641 068 Apta is a kind of Mac user's organization which provides tools that give access to the Macintosh operating system and other tools as well ( I guess ). Simula for Macintosh is available free of charge from Lund Software House Box 7056 S - 220 07 Lund Sweden It is also available via ftp ftp.lth.se in directory /mac/misc/simula_4.11 Demos can be obtained from Professor Graham Birtwistle Dept. of Computer Science The University of Calgary 2500 University Drive N.W. Calgary, Alberta, Canada T2N 1N4 This information and much more is available through membership in the ASU, Association of SIMULA Users. Send an e-mail to hio@intek.se for more information and a registration form. Henry Islo
