Hello, Simula programmers!!  Our OOP professor assigned groups to do 
reports on different object oriented languages.  Well, my topic is 
actually Eiffel :).  However, I am comparing it to Simula and other 
OOP languages in the following way, but am having problems finding 
information for the languages to this regard: Eiffel has the ability to 
set pre and post conditions for every object.  For example, suppose I 
create an object called Postal, which contains a pointer to a 
string of text (a letter being sent out), the weight of the letter, from 
and to where the letter is being sent, and the cost to send it to the 
destination.  With Eiffel, I can set a precondition that every object 
MUST have a weight of under 250lbs, and a postcondition that the cost of 
sending the letter will be no less than $2.50 (minimum rate).  I do this 
by using the keywords "require" and "ensure".  Is there anyway to 
implement pre/post conditions for objects/classes in Simula?  How 
would one do this if it is possible?  I greatly appreciate your help!
