We were researching it, had a pointer to it for a little while, decided it
did not apply to us, and so, therefore, we removed the link to it because we
did not want people thinking that we were under its influence. Make sense?

In a time before your name graced this e-mail list a year ago (maybe it
was there but just not as active as today), I'd made the same annoucement,
advising people that it was there in our fileshell but just not pointed to.

You're witnessing the SECOND announcement a year later. :)

Yes, they've been getting better, lately. A year ago, though, they didn't
have one of them up.

Speaking of "wares"...any programmers in this list? If I created a HELP
file (the easiest way I can think of to best describe my program idea),
would someone be able to actually create the program? Basically my idea is
a quick-click SKYWARN spotter/event logging/tracking program, probably best
for Windows with all the mouse point/click/pull-down/button reset actions
that I'm thinking of.

I think I remember somebody at one of the SKYWARN sites had like a sloppy
incomplete draft copy but I was unable to remember the URL, and could not
find it in any of the search engines (I should say EASILY anyway). Went
through what must have been 50 pages of vaguely SKYWARN-related pointers in
Yahoo and AltaVista, etc., and gave up realizing it was going to be a
daunting task finding it again. So, I just wrote the ARRL and had them send
me a copy.
