Sean, I understand that the Redcross charges for CPR and first aid classes but locally the Amarican Heart Association does likewise. I have no way of comparing charges at the moment but I feel what is considered obscene is realative. While the stories related to you by your grandmother and friend may be true, but that doesn't mean that that is the Red Cross operates. I tend to believe that the actions of the persons in the ancedotal tales where acting on their own intitiative. Sean, your relating to us your comments to us one the Red Cross training are the first hand comments seen so far. -- 73, Doug Younker, N0LKK near Plainville, KS dougy@ruraltel.net N0LKK@K0JJV.#NWKS.KS.USA.NAOM Sean Carroll wrote: > > I first heard tales of " generosity" from my Grandmother, an Army Nurse in > WWII.
