Greetings,

My name is Michael Redd.  I am the CEO of The Southern Mississippi
Skywarn Group.  I have recently started the Official Skywarn Sites
Webring. This is a web ring dedicated to the promotion of Official
Skywarn Websites.  We feel that the Official Skywarn Websites offer a
lot of valuable information for the public and should be made more
readily available.  This will give each of us the opportunity to have
other people promote our website and we can do the same for them.  We
are a unique community and therefore should have our own web ring.  
This is not to take away from other rings dedicated to the furtherance
of weather education, we just feel that because individual Skywarn
groups have played and will continue to play a large role in early
warning and weather watching situations, they deserve singular
recognition.  
We would like to offer each of the Skywarn Groups that have websites the
opportunity to join this webring.   This can be a very effective tool in
getting the public involved and educated.
