Research Conference on Undercounted Populations

May 1993

Papers may be of a methodological, ehtnographic, sociological, or
statistical nature.  The Bureau is interested in both rural and
urban undercount.

Possible topics include:

     who gets missed
     behavioral/attitudinal causes of undercount
     innovative approaches to surveying ethnic populations
     cultural and language patterns that affect enumeration
     geographic issues leading to undercount.

500-work abstract should be submitted by September 1, 1992; papers
not chosen for formal presentation may be included in small
roundtable discussions or poster sessions.
