Hello All,
   I am looking for any and all information on DPMI & VCPI memory specs.
I would also like to know if any of you know of a PD/Shareware program
that can provide this type of memory for a 386/486 PC w/DOS 5.0.  I know
EMM386.EXE only provides XMS or EMS LIM 4.0.  I am try to use some
software packages that prefer the DPMI or VCPI Extended memory.  Although
they will use Expanded memory also, I would prefer to provide the Extended
memory for them so that I can eliminate the need for an EMS page frame
in upper memory so that I can have as much UMB space as possible for
Network Drivers.  I do know that QEMM 386 will provide this service, but
I would like to see if there is a *cheaper* solution to this problem.
My department does not have the money to purchase 30+ copies of QEMM.
Any and All information on these specifications and PD/shareware
programs and ftp sites will be greatly appreciated.
