There is a new program available (GrafEq) for graphing
mathematically defined shapes, such as: circles, ellipses,
parabolas, sines, etc... Since we are not well known, I thought
some people on the list would appreciate hearing about us. For
more info, we have a web page (http://www.cafe.net/peda/)
and email (Pedagoguery@Applelink.Apple.com) We would
be glad to answer any questions people have. Our main
advantages are ease of use and robust graphing capabilities.

New for Windows(TM) and PowerMacintosh(TM):
GrafEq 2.02 is now available for 3 platforms:
-Macintosh(TM)
-Power Macintosh
-Windows(TM) (3.1 or 3.11, with Win32s)
Features:
- relations in mathematical format (can be copied/pasted)
- free-form relation entry, including implicit relations
- relation description allows multiple constraints
- subtractive successive refinement plotting that is:
- accurate
- precise
- 1D and 2D plotting
- 3D contour plotting
- singularities & discontinuities displayed
- multiple relations - layered or blended
(samples: x=siny, xy=0.00001, y=sin500x, y=|y|,
and x^2+y^2=x^3+y^3, x^2+y^2=0 ...
ALL accurately plotted *without user assistance*)
- extensive interpretation aids:
- user-defined ticks,curve-riding
- coordinate determination, angles & distances...
- extensive page design features, including:
- formatted relations, text, plots
- 'drawing' tools: lines, arrows, boxes
- file saving/loading for 'slide-shows'
Visit our page at http://espresso.cafe.net/peda/
to view some graphics. (a demo copy will be available
for downloading soon)
