Win3.1 PRINT PROBS -- Pathworks/Novell Coexistance

Hi:

I'm running Pathworks 4.1 (with both DECnet and TCP/IP protocols) with Novell 3.11 Coexistance on a 386SX workstation. All our printers are remote and attached one print queue on the Novell file server.

When Windows 3.1 is setup for 'DEC PATHWORKS (version 4.1 or higher)' in the Windows Setup Option (Main Group), all the printers from the Novell file server disappear (in the Control Panel / Printers menu). However, when I change the Network Option to 'Novell Netware (shell versions 3.26 and above)', all the printers reappear.

Is there a way I can leave the 'DEC PATHWORKS' setup and be able to see (and successfully print to) the Novell printers?

Note: I've worked around it by capturing LPT1 before loading Windows and having Windows print to LPT1: local port, however I shouldn't need to do this.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
