Hello, I have a big Mailmerge database, split into 3 files. I have two questions. 1. Can I convert a Word 97 mailmerge file into a MS Access database? How? 2. Can I combine two mailmerge files into one? Thanks very much. Dan Kucerovsky kucerov@panther.uwo.ca (please e-mail, I don't have much access to news.)

Hi Dan yes, you can import a Word97 file into Access7 - the import wizard will guide you through the conversion If your two mailmerge files have the same type of data in the same order then it is easy, open one file, go to the end of the data, click on Insert, File, open the second file and it will be inserted at the end of the first, delete the row of field names belonging to the inserted file and you should be set.
