recovering after crash / wiederherstellung nach absturz

hi!

after a crash in word 97@win98 (auto-recovering info saving enabled) the
auto-recovering doesn't work.
only a suitably .tmp-file (size & date) in the  C:\WINDOWS\TEMP was
found. after opening this file as an .txt-file with an editor or as
.doc-file with word the content wasn't the same as in the origin word
document: only a lot of boxes & carrige returns or paragraph-ends.
the content of the word document was a whole day work at a thesis
(diploma) & very important.
any way to save (rescue) it?


nach einem absturz in word 97@win98 (auto wiederherstellen info
speichern aktiviert) funktionierte das auto wiederherstellen nicht.
nur eine passende .tmp-datei (gr��e & datum) war in C:\WINDOWS\TEMP zu
finden. nach dem �ffnen dieser datei als .txt-datei mit einem editor
oder als .doc-datei mit word war der inhalt nicht derselbe wie des
ursprungs word dokuments: nur eine vielzahl von k�stchen &
zeilenwechseln oder absatzenden.
der einhalt des word dokuments war ein ganzer tag arbeit an einer
diplomaebeit & sehr wichtig.
gibt's ein weg der um ihn zu retten?
