I would like to know what the actual name of this other list is (ie.
is it actually wpfwwin) and which listserv host does it use?

Also, is there a command that I can send to the listserv which will allow me
to get the address of the person who actually sent the message? With my HP-48
list from NDSUVM1, I get a line in the header called "from: " which tells me
who sent the message to the list so that I can respond via private e-mail if
it is more appropriate than posting to the entire list.

Thanks in advance!

It is WPWIN-L@UBVM, send e-mail to LISTSERV@UBVM with the first line in the
body of the mail message, not the Subject: line, as:

sub wpwin-l first-name last-name

This information should be in the mail header. I would bet that your
site's MUA (Mail User Agent) is not showing it to you. Ask your User
Services people for further advice.

By any chance, does anyone care...

As a regular reader, I wonder at this conjecture if there is any hope of
removing the 50 from the list name and changing it to something else.
WPv5-L would seem to be appropriate.
